Superdrug Dry Shampoo :-)

I'm a great lover of dry shampoos, because they're so handy to have if you need to go out quick without a shower and want to spruce up your hair! Some of them can be a little pricey though, but here is my favourite for you to read about, and consider buying if you wish :-)

Superdrug Dry Shampoo
These are just three of the different ones you can get. Others include: 'Away with the fairies', 'Spirit of the carnival' & 'Head in the clouds'. The ones in this picture (if you cannot read the writing) are: 'Heart on your sleeve', 'Chocolate brownie' & 'Floating on a breeze'. I am not sure if there are others, but I think that is all of them. A 150 ml bottle costs £1.99. AT THE MOMENT THERE'S AN AMAZING OFFER OF BUY 1 GET 2 FREE! Yes that's right, get 2 free I didn't mistype ;) Just thought I'd let you know. Unsure how the long the offer's on for, but only paying 1/3 of what you'd normally be paying is pretty amazing!

I used to use Batiste because it was the only dry shampoo I knew of, but now I've discovered Superdrug dry shampoo I'm not looking back! It's cheaper and just as good as Batiste.

It absorbs the oil in your hair and gives it that 'just washed' look. It really is very good. The brown bottle above has brown coloured dry shampoo inside, and freshens up the colour of brunette hair (durr!!!). I've never used this one but according to someone I know it can leave your palms looking pretty brown and weird, like a fake tan disaster! So then you have to go and wash your hands as well, and be careful in case it stains your clothes, or marks your face. You don't want to have to waste more time getting ready, or risk ruining your favourite garments! I wouldn't recommend using the brown one unless you dye your hair brown and want to refresh the colour if roots are coming through. In this case it'd be very handy!

The scents of the different ones really are reminiscent of the pictures on the front, so just try and pick which picture you like best I guess! I know that's not the best advice, but they are good at indicating the scent. I just picked which three (for the offer) I thought would smell the nicest.

I own the following three superdrug dry shampoos: 'Spirit of the Carnival', 'Floating on a breeze' and 'Away with the fairies'. My favourite is 'Floating on a breeze', because it has such a refreshing scent. It's really hard to describe, but it does smell like a really nice shampoo - so it'll make your hair smell like it's actually just been washed! It smells like a really nice, spritzy bodyspray too, GRRR so hard to describe!!! But it's smells so lovely anyway.

'Spirit of the carnival' smells of coconuts; a nice smell but just a bit to sweet for me. But that's just personal taste. 'Away with the fairies' smells like a musky, floral, sweet perfume. Very nice, but it smells possibly too 'grown up' for teens and young women. But again that's just my personal impression :-) I probably sound like an old silly, but I like 'Floating on a breeze' because the scent just makes me feel uplifted and energised, that's the impression it gives anyway.

How to Use
Take all clips, bobbles etc out of your hair. Remove the lid of the dry shampoo bottle and give it a good shake! Spray down your parting, and on your fringe (if you have one). Lift up different parts of your hair and spray near the roots, as well as a lighter spritz on lower-down parts of your hair. Rub all of your hair to work the dry shampoo in, and using a soft brush brush it out (you won't be able to get all of it out but you're not meant to). I usually just use my hands to move my hair about to try and 'shake' the dry shampoo out. Style your hair as normal. Now you should have refreshed and clean looking hair, that smells like a treat!

See ya soon xxx
